I've been thinking for awhile about leadership. Leadership is really about a set of personal characteristics that you bring with you every day. It's part of what you are. It's behaviours that you set out in your every day life whether it's at work or at home or in your community.
I believe that to be a successful leader you must lead with your heart. And I consider that leading with a good, well-intentioned heart. A great leader is someone that listens, hears, understands and takes action.
As part of my personal intent to lead, I've been posting inspirational pictures and sayings in my workplace. They're posted on the outside of my office wall which gets lots of traffic because it's right outside the lunch room! But, I'd like others to be able to see them as well. Not every post will speak to you and they're often just what I need on that day.
So this blog is going to start by journalling my commitment to 356 days of Inspiration. I hope that you find them thought-provoking.
